Competition to Learn About the 80-Year History and Development Tradition of the Militia and Self-Defense Force Department
Through the contest, each entry will contribute to spreading pride in revolutionary traditions, solidarity, dedication, and the silent sacrifices of the Self-Defense Militia—the force closest to the people, ready to respond earliest when the People need them.
Eligibility: All Vietnamese citizens are eligible to participate, regardless of gender, age, background, or religion.
Participants may choose one of the following formats:
Commentary / Documentary Video: Duration under 15 minutes.
Short Video: Duration under 5 minutes.
Artistic Music Video (MV): Expressing creativity through songs, melodies, etc., thereby reflecting the dedication, spirit of solidarity, and silent sacrifice of the Self-Defense Militia—the force closest to the people, ready to respond earliest when the People need them.

Submission period: From August 10, 2026 to October 15, 2026.
Entries advancing to Round 02 will be posted on the Facebook pages of the Department of Self-Defense Militia, the Facebook group “Tôi yêu chiến sĩ Sao Vuông”, the Facebook page “Dân quân tự vệ Việt Nam”, and the Facebook group “Yêu người chiến sĩ Dân quân tự vệ Việt Nam” for public voting and outreach during the voting period.
Voting period: From November 15, 2026 to December 1, 2026.
Announcement of results: From December 31, 2026 to January 15, 2027.
Prize structure
01 First Prize: 7,000,000 VND.
03 Second Prizes: 5,000,000 VND / prize.
05 Third Prizes: 3,000,000 VND / prize.
20 Consolation Prizes: 1,000,000 VND / prize.
