Career Connect: Job Opportunities for NTTU Pharmacy Students at FPT Long Chau

On the morning of August 4, 2026, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Nguyen Tat Thanh University, in collaboration with FPT Long Chau, organized the recruitment program “Long Chau Career Connect: Interview Today – Pave the Way for Tomorrow” for Pharmacy students. The program provided an opportunity for students to learn about workforce demands, working environments, career development roadmaps at the enterprise, and directly experience the real recruitment process.

Connecting students with real-world recruitment needs

In the context of a labor market increasingly placing emphasis on professional capacity and occupational skills, creating conditions for students to gain early exposure to businesses holds practical significance in preparing their career journeys.

With that objective, the recruitment program jointly organized by Nguyen Tat Thanh University and FPT Long Chau, titled “Long Chau Career Connect: Interview Today – Pave the Way for Tomorrow,” aimed to bring recruitment needs closer to students of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Nguyen Tat Thanh University, while opening up opportunities for them to learn about job positions and career requirements at FPT Long Chau.

Attending the program, from Nguyen Tat Thanh University, were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mai Hai Chau – Head of the Department of Corporate Relations and Student Employment; Dr. Phan Thien Vy – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, along with department heads, lecturers, staff, and nearly 100 Pharmacy students. From FPT Long Chau, there were Ms. Vo Thi Kim Hong – Deputy HR Director; Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Anh Thu – Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Lead; and recruitment specialists.

Delivering the opening address, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mai Hai Chau emphasized the competitive advantage of Nguyen Tat Thanh University students, who are trained with an orientation toward linking knowledge with practical application. Strengthening connections with enterprises helps students acquire more labor market insights and proactively prepare for the job application process after graduation.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mai Hai Chau also expressed gratitude to FPT Long Chau for trusting and choosing to accompany the University in recruitment activities for students. Through the program, the University expects the collaborative relationship between the two entities to continue strengthening, thereby expanding further learning, experiential, and employment opportunities for Pharmacy students.

Within the framework of the program, to help students gain a more practical perspective on human resource demands in the pharmaceutical industry, Ms. Vo Thi Kim Hong – Deputy HR Director of FPT Long Chau, shared extensive information regarding job opportunities, training roadmaps, career advancement paths, and welfare policies at the company.

Direct insights from corporate representatives helped students better visualize the working environment and requirements expected of a Pharmacist, providing clearer direction in honing professional knowledge, occupational skills, and preparing for the job application process.

Hands-on interviews – opportunities to advance in the recruitment journey

Alongside sharing sessions, the program created conditions for students to directly access FPT Long Chau’s recruitment process. This served as an opportunity for them to not only explore the profession but also proactively challenge themselves and assess their readiness against actual employer requirements.

The highlight of the program was the hands-on interview activity. Students majoring in Pharmacy at Nguyen Tat Thanh University participated in direct interviews with FPT Long Chau’s recruitment team, experiencing realistic questions while showcasing their capacity, experience, and career goals.

Through the interview process, students honed their communication skills, self-presentation techniques, and situational problem-solving in a professional recruitment environment. Notably, they received direct feedback and advice from FPT Long Chau’s recruitment specialists, allowing them to identify key strengths to build upon and areas needing further refinement.

Importantly, students who successfully passed the interview round during the event will earn the chance to move forward to the next direct interview round at FPT Long Chau. This next step in the hiring process opens up paths to get closer to official employment positions and become official employees of the enterprise.

By combining career insights with on-campus direct job interviews, the program brought enterprises closer to Pharmacy students, encouraging them to actively explore the labor market and test their abilities within real recruitment workflows to polish job application skills and step-by-step expand career opportunities right from their university days.
