The workshop “Personalizing and Optimizing Learning with Mac & iPad” pointed out that learning in the digital era is not just about note-taking, reading documents, or completing assignments, but is also a journey of knowing how to manage time, process information smartly, and transform technology into an effective companion for NTTU students.

The workshop was attended by representatives from Nguyen Tat Thanh University, including Dr. Huynh Tan – Director of the Foreign Language Center, Assistant to the President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University; Mr. Tran Huy Thạch (M.Sc.) – Vice Director of the Foreign Language Center; Mr. Nguyen Duy Thuc (M.Sc.) – Vice Head of the Equipment Management Department; along with a large number of NTTU students who are passionate about technology, content creation, and modern learning methodologies.

The program attracted a large number of NTTU students, creating a vibrant learning atmosphere in the digital era

Far from being a mere product demonstration, the program was designed as an “open classroom” where students could directly listen, observe, and practice how technology can reshape their daily study habits. From taking lecture notes, summarizing documents, scheduling classes, and managing tasks to building presentation content, every insight shared at the workshop was tied to familiar student scenarios.

The speaker shares practical experiences in time management, note-taking, content summarization, and optimizing learning and working performance in the digital age.

Speaker Hung Khuc – a content creator from ThinkView shares practical experiences in time management, note-taking, content summarization, and optimizing learning performance using Apple devices with NTTU students

At the program, Mr. Hung Khuc – a content creator from ThinkView brought an engaging and relatable sharing session on how he manages his time, organizes work, and maintains study and work efficiency. Through practical experiences, the speaker enlightened students on how to take notes and summarize lecture contents concisely for easy retention and application, while also sharing how to leverage Apple devices to optimize learning workflows and content creation.

From the story of a content creator, NTTU students gained a fresh perspective: technology only truly delivers value when learners know how to master the tools, choose appropriate methods, and turn devices into personal assistants serving their educational goals. This is also the spirit that NTTU is actively promoting within its training environment: encouraging students to be proactive in learning, experiencing, and adapting to the changes of the digital era.

The speaker directly guides students to exploit useful features on Apple devices.

Mr. Vu Duc Lam – a representative from CellphoneS live demos tools within the Apple ecosystem, helping NTTU students better understand how to apply technology to reduce distractions, process documents, and enhance learning efficiency

Continuing the program, Mr. Vu Duc Lam – a representative from CellphoneS introduced and live-demoed useful tools within the Apple ecosystem such as Shortcuts, Finder, Focus Mode, and Apple Intelligence. Features that seemed familiar were explored by the speaker from a very practical viewpoint: how to reduce distractions during study, quickly process lengthy documents, retrieve data more efficiently, and boost concentration during work.

Notably, the demonstration of shortcuts like “Document Summary”, “Focus Mode”, and “Discover Vietnam” sparked great excitement among students by showing that technology can support learners even in the smallest actions. With a properly established workflow, students can save time, enhance memory retention, and make learning more intuitive and flexible.

NTTU students directly use Mac and iPad to experience learning support tools in the Apple ecosystem; from note-taking, summarizing, and processing information to teamwork, content design, and presenting creative ideas. Especially, through the minigame “A Tour of Vietnam”, they immediately applied technology to the challenges of information retrieval, local introduction, building slides or intuitive mind maps, thereby practicing presentation skills, creative thinking, and the ability to apply digital tools into practical learning

The highlight of the workshop was the minigame “A Tour of Vietnam” – an activity that helped students immediately apply the newly introduced tools into a creative challenge. Organized individually or in groups of 2 to 3 people, participants chose a favorite province or their hometown, then acted as “tour guides” to synthesize information about tourist attractions, local cuisine, and travel tips.

Within 10 minutes, the groups used Keynote or Freeform to present their contents in the form of slides or mind maps with visual images. Afterward, volunteering groups had 3 minutes to pitch their ideas to the audience. The hall’s atmosphere became incredibly lively as students simultaneously utilized technology while demonstrating their creativity, presentation logic, and persuasive skills.

Through the minigame, the workshop not only brought joy and interaction but also helped students cultivate essential capabilities for their academic and professional paths: information retrieval, content filtering, presentation design, teamwork, public speaking, and creative thinking. These are the exact core skills that NTTU students are encouraged to develop throughout their journey at the university alongside specialized academic knowledge.
