NTTU Students and Youth Union Members Hone Skills in Applying AI for Effective Study and Work

Recently, at the An Phu Dong campus, the Youth Union of Nguyen Tat Thanh University hosted the training program “Skills in Applying AI for Effective Studying and Working”. The program is an activity under Activity Cluster No. 1 – Youth Union of the HCMC People’s Committee, in collaboration with the Student Cultural House, attracting a large number of Youth Union – Student Association officials, union members, youth, and students.

In the context of artificial intelligence (AI) increasingly becoming an essential supporting tool in studying, research, and work, equipping students, union members, and youth with skills to utilize AI effectively, properly, and responsibly is a practical requirement. Through this program, Nguyen Tat Thanh University aims to enhance digital capacity, encourage innovative thinking, and help learners proactively adapt to the rapid development of technology.

Speaking at the program, MSc. Nguyen Mai Thanh Truc – Deputy Secretary of the University Youth Union emphasized that the training activity not only provides knowledge about AI tools but also contributes to realizing the work theme of the year, “Strongly Innovating the Operation Methods of the Youth Union.” It promotes digital transformation and innovates the content and organization methods of Youth Union activities, thereby improving the quality of Youth Union cadres in the new development phase.

At the event, Dr. Dang Van Khoa – Central Keynote Speaker of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union presented the topic “Skills in Applying AI for Effective Studying and Working.” With practical experience and deep insights, the speaker delivered highly applicable content, helping union members and students access methods to leverage AI for study, research, and professional work. Beyond merely accessing technology, the program paid special attention to using AI correctly, creatively, and responsibly. This is also a crucial direction aimed at helping learners develop digital competence and proactively apply technology to their studying, research, and self-cultivation.

In addition to listening to the speaker, Youth Union – Student Association cadres, lecturers, and students engaged in direct discussions, asking questions and raising practical scenarios related to studying, research, and AI adoption. This created an interactive environment for attendees to clarify their remaining queries and concerns.

The training workshop stands as a meaningful initiative to enhance digital skills for Youth Union – Student Association leaders, union members, youth, and students. Consequently, learners not only gain access to supplemental tools for learning and working but also gradually build a selective, creative, and responsible mindset toward tech usage.

To help students proactively adapt to rapid technological evolution, Nguyen Tat Thanh University regularly hosts training programs, seminars, networking events, and thematic sessions focused on artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technology. Through these activities, students are equipped with essential knowledge and skills to utilize AI for learning, research, and digital capacity development. The University aims to foster technological thinking, proactive innovation, and the effective, creative, civilized, and responsible use of AI, ensuring students stand ready to meet the rising demands of modern academic environments and the labor market during the era of digital transformation.
