More than just vibrant matches on the field, the 2026 Sports Exchange for faculty, students, alumni, and businesses of the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology was a meaningful occasion for generations of learners, educators, and industry partners to meet, share, and spread the spirit of unity within the Faculty’s community.
With the message “Connection is primary, sports are the bridge,” the program created an enthusiastic, joyful atmosphere while fostering a close-knit connection between the university, businesses, alumni, and current students.
The sports event was attended by Dr. Nguyen Thi Nha – Vice Dean; Dr. Vo Thi Dieu Hien – Vice Dean; along with department leaders, faculty, and staff of the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology. The event also saw the presence of Mr. Huynh Tan Dat – Director of Le Huynh Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. and Head of the Faculty’s Business Club; Mr. Tran Cong Vinh – Deputy General Director of Bio-Pharmachemie Joint Venture Company; Mr. Pham Dinh Toan – Deputy Director of Sales at Bio-Pharmachemie; along with representatives from various businesses, alumni, and a large number of students from the Faculty.
Dr. Vo Thi Dieu Hien – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology, delivering the opening speech and spreading the message “Connection is primary, sports are the bridge.”
When the field becomes a gathering place for generations
The sports event brought together 8 teams, including: Faculty – Business Team, Bio-Pharmachemie Team, Chemistry Alumni Team, Food – Environment Alumni Team, and various student teams (Food Technology, Environment, Chemistry – Chemical Biology, and Veterinary Medicine). Each team brought its own unique character, blending the youthful energy of current students with the camaraderie and experience of alumni, businesses, and faculty. Beyond the pursuit of victory, the teams upheld a spirit of fair play, supporting each other and reinforcing the close bonds within the Faculty.
Spreading the spirit of unity
In her opening remarks, Dr. Vo Thi Dieu Hien highlighted that the event was designed to create a healthy environment where faculty, students, alumni, and businesses could not only engage in physical activity but also connect and share experiences. The Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology consistently prioritizes student well-being, aiming to build a dynamic learning environment where students can hone soft skills, collective spirit, and adaptability alongside their professional knowledge.
The Bio-Pharmachemie Team successfully clinched the championship at the 2026 Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology Sports Exchange.
Bio-Pharmachemie claims the championship
After exciting matches, the Bio-Pharmachemie Team emerged as the champions of the 2026 Sports Exchange. The Food Technology Student Team took home the second prize, while the Chemistry Alumni Team and the Veterinary Medicine Student Team shared the third prize. However, the greatest value of the program remained the bonds formed and the community spirit demonstrated throughout the competition.
Continued partnership with businesses and alumni
A highlight of the event was the active participation of businesses and alumni. Mr. Huynh Tan Dat, Head of the Faculty’s Business Club, expressed the businesses’ commitment to accompanying the Faculty in training activities, career connections, and student support. With various training fields such as Biotechnology, Food Technology, Veterinary Medicine, and Biomedical Science, the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology continues to focus on expanding its network of business partners and strengthening practical experiences for its students.
The event concluded on a high note, reaffirming the Faculty’s culture of connection, companionship, and sustainable development within Nguyen Tat Thanh University.
