Event attendance lists
On September 12, 2026, the stage of “NIIE Runway 2026” became a meeting point for fashion, music, and confident performances. The highlight of the event was 17 teams representing different classes performing live on stage. Over 400 students from the Class of 2025 also participated and watched the show, creating an energetic atmosphere.

“NIIE Runway 2026” was organized as part of the course “Professional Image and Style Building.” Behind each outfit was a story of how students built an appropriate image. The students practiced everything from outfit selection and communication to teamwork.
The activity also demonstrated NIIE’s orientation toward integrating practical experience into the learning process. Classroom knowledge was applied to specific situations for direct practice, bringing learning closer to the demands of a professional environment.

The event was attended by representatives of the Board of Rectors, NIIE Leadership, and various departments from NTTU. Key attendees included Dr. Nguyen Tuan Anh – Vice Rector of Nguyen Tat Thanh University and Director of NIIE; Dr. Nguyen Manh Hoang – Vice Director of NIIE; along with Heads of Departments at NIIE: Dr. Ngo To Giao – Head of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong – Head of Business Administration and Technology.
Notably, the program was honored to welcome Prof. Ryuhei Sano and 13 students from the Department of Social Policy and Management, Hosei University, Japan. Their presence added a vibrant international flavor to the event.

The event also featured MSc. Duong Thi Kim Xoa – Deputy Head of Corporate Relations and Student Employment Office. Joining her was Ms. Le Thi Minh Nguyet – Member of the Board of Members and Director of Communications & External Relations at Le Thanh Group, currently working at LeChateau Hotel.
Representing the guest judges was actor and model Doan Minh Tai, Founder of the La Sams chain and CEO of SALATA Media & Events Co., Ltd. The three guests served as judges for the fashion portion.

The core of the event was the competition between 17 teams. Each team walked the runway with distinct style and expressions, competing across two outfit categories.
The first category was “Business Casual”, followed by “Professional Formal Wear”. These two categories challenged students to adapt their personal image to different contexts.

From Business Casual to Professional Formal Wear
“Business Casual” emphasizes flexibility in daily attire while remaining context-appropriate. Students had to balance personal style with professionalism.
“Professional Formal Wear” focused on looks tailored for corporate environments. What appeared on stage was not merely about wearing attractive clothing, but also about appropriateness for specific professional contexts.

Top 6 face the Q&A challenge
Following two runway rounds, the Top 6 teams advanced to the Q&A segment. Here, the challenge shifted from fashion presentation to communication, quick thinking, and teamwork. Each team introduced themselves in English before drawing their questions.

The Q&A session became one of the highlights of “NIIE Runway 2026”. Teams demonstrated confidence and responsiveness directly on stage, with many contestants actively delivering their answers in English.
Critical thinking was not the only skill on display; seamless collaboration among team members also elevated each presentation, showcasing true teamwork through every challenge.
NIIE Runway enriched by musical performances and team spirit
Interspersed between competition rounds were musical performances delivered by students. Eight performances were selected from the 17 participating teams, with each act adding a distinct flavor to the stage.
Performances included “Duong Len Phia Truoc” (The Way Forward), “Con Gi Dep Hon” (Nothing More Beautiful), “Mua Gao Khmer” (Khmer Coconut Shell Dance), and “Tai Sinh” (Rebirth), along with specially prepared mashups. This combination created a diverse and lively atmosphere for NIIE Runway.

The spirit of NIIE Runway was also reflected from the auditorium, where student classes vigorously cheered for their representatives, enriching the overall atmosphere with warmth and connectivity.

Following the runway showcases and Q&A session, the awards were officially announced. With a confident poise and convincing performance, team Aura won First Place in the Fashion Show, marking a memorable milestone in their journey this year.

The two Second Place prizes went to The Light and Lumière, both recognized for their stylish concepts infused with cultural elements. Meanwhile, Infinity, All Stars, and Star Light shared Third Place.
The Third Place teams delivered high-energy and colorful performances. Remaining teams were awarded Consolation Prizes, ensuring every effort received recognition.

In addition to the “Fashion Show”, eight performance acts added excitement to the final round, presented by Fire Star, Boom, Signature, Lumière, Star Light, The Light, Free Fire, and Aurora X. All eight groups received performance awards.

Concluding an energetic afternoon, the overall results recognized many standout performances. Each team brought a unique personality and storytelling approach, making “NIIE Runway 2026” a youthful and distinct event.
From an outfit to building a personal professional image
While an outfit may form a first impression, a professional image stems from communication, demeanor, and confidence. This served as the connecting thread between “NIIE Runway 2026” and the Professional Image and Style Building course.
Throughout the event, students navigated diverse scenarios: selecting outfits, walking the runway, presenting introductions in English, and responding to spontaneous questions on stage. Each challenge required a different presentation approach—balancing individual style with effective team coordination—skills that extend directly beyond the lecture hall.
“NIIE Runway 2026” has concluded, but the practical skills gained retain long-term value, whether applied in upcoming presentations, internship beginnings, or job interviews. A professional image is cultivated through experiential learning during student years.
