NTTU Students Master the Art of Presentation and Career Opportunities at Chubb Life Vietnam

On the morning of March 27, 2026, at the An Phu Dong Campus, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, in collaboration with Chubb Life Vietnam, successfully organized a talkshow themed: “Sharing Presentation Skills and Conquering Recruiters for the 2025 – 2026 Academic Year.”

The program attracted nearly 200 students, providing a close-up look at personnel standards at multinational corporations while equipping future graduates with sharp “weapons” to confidently position themselves in the labor market right from their university days.

The event honored to welcome representatives from the leadership of both units. From Nguyen Tat Thanh University, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mai Hai Chau – Head of the Corporate Relations and Student Employment Department (CR&SED) and Ms. Duong Thi Kim Xoa – Deputy Head of CR&SED. From Chubb Life Vietnam, the attendees included Mr. Hoang Trong Thinh – Vice President, National Sales Training & Capability Development; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien – Senior Director, Champion Hubb Project Manager; Mr. Tran Duc Minh – Head of Training Development and Human Resources Partner – Chubb Life Vietnam; Ms. Truong Thi Kieu Linh – Deputy Head of Training & Sales Capability Development for the Southern Region, along with their support team.

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mai Hai Chau affirmed that the program is a testament to the educational philosophy of “True Learning – True Practice – True Reputation – True Career.” He emphasized that connecting with Chubb Life Vietnam would give students the opportunity to explore and better understand career pathways in the financial sector after graduation.

The highlight of the talkshow was the “hands-on” insights shared by the highly experienced expert team from Chubb Life Vietnam. Mr. Tran Duc Minh – Head of Training Development and Human Resources Partner, directly “decoded” the appeal of an international working environment by introducing Chubb’s corporate culture and strong financial foundation. The impressive statistics about its network across 54 countries and a people-centric philosophy helped NTTU students visualize a clear portrait of a prestigious financial corporation where every individual has opportunities for sustainable development.

Continuing the stream of inspiration, Ms. Truong Thi Kieu Linh – Deputy Head of Training & Sales Capability Development for the Southern Region, delivered a training session on persuasive presentation skills. Moving away from dry theories, students were guided through stage-mastery techniques: from preparing professional attire, utilizing body language, and using “expressive” eyes to voice modulation methods to win recruiters’ complete trust. The speakers collectively emphasized that in the digital era, professional expertise is the foundation, but understanding corporate culture combined with sharp presentation skills is the real “weapon” that helps Gen Z confidently project their value and shine in every interview.

Particularly, the atmosphere became even more explosive with the appearance of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien – Senior Director, Champion Hubb Project Manager. During her session, Ms. Hien introduced the Potential Intern Program – a roadmap designed to shape future financial “champions” at Chubb Life Vietnam. Ms. Hien highlighted that the Champion Hubb project is not just a standard recruitment drive but a practical training environment where NTTU students have the chance to immediately apply the presentation skills and confidence they just learned into a global corporation. Through the Future Financial Advisor (FFA) position, future graduates will be mentored by top experts, opening up clear promotion pathways and allowing them to assert their value right from the very first steps of their careers.

The auditorium’s atmosphere was electric with high-energy, direct interactions between NTTU students and the expert speakers. Instead of one-way questions, future graduates confidently demonstrated their capabilities by jumping straight into real-world hypothetical scenarios, practicing adaptability and stage control right on the spot.

A meaningful and heartwarming conclusion to the talkshow was the presentation of 10 tablets to students who have overcome difficulties and achieved academic excellence—a clear proof of the business’s deep care for the next generation.

At the end of the program, representatives of the university presented beautiful bouquets as a token of deep gratitude for the partnership of Chubb Life Vietnam in nurturing future talents. The event concluded not only with radiant group photos but also with a firm belief: with the right knowledge and preparation, NTTU students possess full capability to conquer any demanding recruiter.
