The U.S. News & World Report education ranking organization has just released the Best Global Universities 2026 ranking, evaluating more than 2,250 higher education institutions from over 100 countries and territories worldwide. The ranking is built based on criteria regarding academic reputation, scientific research capabilities, the number of international publications, citation volume, and the impact of research works.
Nguyen Tat Thanh University continues to be ranked in the U.S. News Best Global Universities 2026 ranking, marking its third consecutive year of appearing in one of the world’s most prestigious university rankings. This result continues to affirm the University’s position and research capacity on the international higher education map.

The U.S. News Best Global Universities 2026 ranking evaluates over 2,250 universities in more than 100 countries and territories based on academic reputation and research capacity. Its presence on one of the world’s most prestigious university rankings not only affirms the increasingly enhanced position of Nguyen Tat Thanh University within the Vietnamese higher education system but also demonstrates the effectiveness of the University’s sustainable development strategy, which places training quality and research at its core.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Kim Hong – President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University shared: “Being continuously recognized in the U.S. News Best Global Universities ranking is an affirmation of the persistent efforts of the University’s collective in improving training quality, promoting scientific research, and expanding international cooperation. This is not only a proud result but also a driving force for us to continue innovating and developing in accordance with advanced global higher education standards.”
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Kim Hong further stated that against the backdrop of higher education undergoing powerful transformations towards globalization, Nguyen Tat Thanh University always remains steadfast with its sustainable development strategy, which is learner-centered and driven by research and innovation. The University believes that today’s achievements will contribute to reinforcing the trust of learners, parents, and partners, while actively contributing to elevating the status of Vietnamese higher education on the international stage.
Previously, Nguyen Tat Thanh University had appeared in many prestigious international rankings such as: THE WUR, THE Impact Rankings, QS Asia University Rankings, Webometrics.org, URAP, etc.
The University clearly understands that innovating to develop and meeting the requirements of society and mass education is extremely urgent. Through ranking and accreditation activities according to domestic and international quality standard sets, Nguyen Tat Thanh University will achieve comprehensive development, not only in training human resources to meet societal demands but also in focusing on scientific research, technology transfer, and community service, aiming to spread entrepreneurship and innovation values. Concurrently, it facilitates deep integration and rapid access to the fast-evolving development trends of universities worldwide.
