NTTU Students: Proactively Protecting Health During the September 2nd National Holiday

ppblong / 1:07 pm 29/08/2026

The National Day holiday is an occasion for NTTU students to rest, go home, travel, and enjoy happy moments with family and friends. However, changes in daily routines, eating out, or frequent traveling can also increase the risk of health problems.

🥗 Food poisoning is one of the risks to keep in mind when consuming unhygienic or food and drinks of unknown origin.
⚠️ Proactively protect your health with these simple daily habits below:
🍽️EAT COOKED FOOD – DRINK CLEAN WATER: Prioritize thoroughly cooked food, safe drinking water, and limit foods of unknown origin.
🧼MAINTAIN PERSONAL HYGIENE: Wash hands frequently, especially before eating and after using the restroom.
🥡CHOOSE SAFE EATERIES: Prioritize clean restaurants and food with clear sources; do not compromise safety for cheap prices.
❄️STORE FOOD PROPERLY: Separate raw and cooked foods, do not consume food with unusual odors, colors, or items left at room temperature for too long.
💧TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEALTH DAILY: Drink enough water, eat balanced nutrition, get adequate sleep, and maintain appropriate physical activity.
🩺 LISTEN TO YOUR BODY: When unusual health symptoms appear, rest and visit a medical facility for timely examination and consultation.
🚨 IF FOOD POISONING IS SUSPECTED:
👉 Stop consuming suspected contaminated food.
👉 Do not self-administer antidiarrheal medications without a prescription.
👉 Replenish fluids or Oresol following proper guidelines.
👉 Go to a medical facility if symptoms are severe, persistent, or show abnormal signs.
🌿 A fulfilling holiday starts with taking good care of yourself!
🌻 NTTU Students – Safe, healthy, enjoying a complete holiday!
