NTTU Students Ready to Participate in the “New Generation Students 2026” Programme

In order to create opportunities for students to promote their creative spirit, practical problem-solving capabilities, and spread valuable ideas and projects to the University, locality, and community, Nguyen Tat Thanh University officially accepts application files for the “New Generation Students 2026” Program organized by Vietnam Television (VTV).

With an educational orientation connecting knowledge to practice, encouraging innovative spirit and community responsibility, NTTU always creates conditions for students to apply classroom learning toward solving real-life problems. The “New Generation Students 2026” program is therefore also an opportunity for NTTU students to demonstrate their confidence, creative thinking, and ability to transform ideas into practical solutions of real value.
Carrying the message “Home has work, Gen ‘Ziệt’ has ways”, the program encourages students to look at existing issues in their hometowns, the University, and the community from the perspective of the young generation, thereby proposing new, practical approaches with the potential to create positive impacts.

1. Eligibility and Participation Format

• Students currently studying at Nguyen Tat Thanh University across all campuses;

• Students may register as individuals or as project teams formed independently by students;

• Encourage students to connect specialized academic knowledge, learning experiences, and practical problems to build ideas with application value and implementation potential.

Through the program, NTTU students not only have the opportunity to showcase their specialized knowledge but also to foster important capabilities such as teamwork, critical thinking, presentation skills, project development, and practical problem-solving in a real-world environment.

2. Registration Process

Application File Includes:
Idea/Project Cover Page
• Name of idea/project;
• Name of individual/project team;
• University name: Nguyen Tat Thanh University;
• Project implementation locality (if applicable).

For project teams, complete information for each participating member must be provided.

The “New Generation Students” program creates a space for connection, competition, and spreading the creative spirit of students from universities across the nation

3. Requirements for Ideas / Projects

Participating ideas/projects should reflect the main theme of the “New Generation Students 2026” Program – “Home has work, Gen ‘Ziệt’ has ways”, while fulfilling the following requirements:
• Originate from a real problem at the University, locality, or community;
• Clearly identify the problem to solve and the target beneficiaries;
• Demonstrate a fresh perspective, creative spirit, and practical solution from the young student generation;
• Possess feasibility for real-world implementation and potential to create a positive community impact.
The Organizing Committee prioritizes projects connected to the specialized majors, fields, and training strengths of the University.
This is also an opportunity for NTTU students to apply professional knowledge to practical problems. From technology, engineering, economics, communications, and design to healthcare, environment, education, tourism, and community service sectors, every major can become a launching pad for initiatives that bear the unique imprint of Nguyen Tat Thanh students.

4. “Reveal” Recruitment Round

Selected individuals or project teams will participate in a centralized regional recruitment session organized by VTV3.
In the “Reveal” Round, students will directly present and defend their ideas/projects before the Organizing Committee and Board of Judges.
This is not only an evaluation round but also a chance for NTTU students to show their analytical thinking, presentation confidence, teamwork capabilities, and proactive attitude toward practical challenges – core competencies that the University emphasizes during training.
Based on project quality, implementation feasibility, and candidate capabilities, the Organizing Committee will select qualified individuals and project teams to proceed to subsequent rounds of the program.

5. Finalizing Project and Official NTTU Representative Squad

Following the “Reveal” Round, the Organizing Committee will aggregate results and send notices to participating units and candidates.
In the event that Nguyen Tat Thanh University qualifies for the next round, the University will collaborate with the selected candidates to discuss, refine, and agree upon 1 official project, as well as finalize a squad of 05 representative NTTU students to compete in national rounds.
This squad will carry not only a single project but also the image of dynamic, creative, proactive NTTU students who dare to think, dare to act, and are ready to create value for the community.

6. NTTU Accompanies the Competition Team

Nguyen Tat Thanh University will facilitate and accompany the competition team throughout their participation in the program, supporting students in refining and implementing their projects, as well as engaging in activities and competition rounds according to the Organizing Committee’s schedule.
This spirit of partnership re-affirms NTTU’s orientation toward building a learning environment that extends beyond the classroom. Students are encouraged to learn through experiences, projects, research, practical activities, and real-life social issues, thereby gradually developing professional capabilities and sense of community responsibility.
The University will also coordinate student support groups to cheer, handle media coverage, and spread the project journey, activities, as well as key achievements of the NTTU team during the program.

7. Expected Timeline

According to the general plan of the Organizing Committee for universities in Ho Chi Minh City, the Southern region, and the Central region (from Da Nang City inward):
• August 20, 2026 – September 15, 2026: Period for receiving registration applications according to the Organizing Committee’s master plan;
• September 10, 2026: Deadline for NTTU students to submit application files to the University for compilation and registration procedures;
• September 22, 2026: Tentative preliminary selection session held in Ho Chi Minh City; specific location will be updated later.
For universities outside Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, candidates are expected to participate in online preliminary selection. Detailed instructions will be updated by the Organizing Committee after universities complete registration.
Information regarding subsequent competition rounds will be announced by the Organizing Committee after teams complete the Recruitment Round.

From practical issues facing the University, hometowns, and community, NTTU students have the opportunity to apply their knowledge, youth, and creative spirit to build genuine value.
