Contrary to the popular belief that learning Piano only revolves around finger training and performing pieces, the training program at the Faculty of Music – Cinema, Nguyen Tat Thanh University is built with a comprehensive approach. Marking milestones at the National Piano Talent Festival 2026
One of the notable milestones for the Piano major in 2026 is the participation of several outstanding students in the National Piano Talent Festival 2026, one of the prestigious arenas for young talents across the country. At the final round of Group H in the Southern region, students Le Hoang Quan (Piano K21), Pham Ngoc Nha Thy (Piano K23), Le Tran Hoai Thuong (Piano K23), and Tran Hoai Thien An (Piano K23) left a strong impression with performances filled with emotion, solid technique, and a confident performance style.
Having multiple students make it to the final round is not only a source of pride for the individuals but also testament to the training quality of the Faculty of Music – Cinema. According to experts, to step onto national-level artistic stages, learners need more than just good technique; they must possess sharp musical thinking, the ability to command the stage, and persistence throughout the training process. These elements are precisely what the training program at NTTU is focusing on building for its students.

A prime example is Dr. Ju Sun Young, a Piano lecturer, who has directly guided and inspired many students to achieve outstanding results in various art competitions and festivals.

Thanks to this, learners do not just grow technically but also gradually form their personal performance style – a very critical factor for professional artists.
