Faced with the increasing pressure of university tuition costs, Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU) has announced a diverse scholarship system for the 2026 enrollment season, offering various levels of support from admission to the entire course duration.
Comprehensive financial support right from admission
According to preliminary information, immediately after being admitted, students can access the “Encouragement” scholarship program dedicated to 2,000 full-time undergraduate students of the 2026 enrollment cohort, applicable to those who complete their enrollment before September 15, 2026.

Specifically, candidates admitted under Option 1 (Nguyện vọng 1) on the portal of the Ministry of Education and Training will receive a scholarship support of 12 million VND, while other options will receive 10 million VND. In addition, students will be gifted a foreign language study voucher worth 5 million VND to support enhancing their integration capabilities right from their first year of university.
For candidates with outstanding achievements, the support level can be up to 100% of the full-course tuition for the school-wide valedictorian (from 27/30 points or higher), or 50% of the tuition fee for the valedictorian of each faculty (from 25/30 points or higher). Candidates who win prizes in excellent student competitions, science-technology, arts, or sports contests also have the opportunity to receive corresponding scholarships. Specifically, candidates winning First, Second, or Third prizes at the national level can be exempted from 100% of the full-course tuition; while National Consolation prizes or provincial-level medals, as well as provincial-level talent, art, and sports awards, can receive support up to 50% of tuition fees.
In addition, the school is implementing the “Overcoming Difficulties” program, supporting up to a 50% reduction in full-course tuition fees for students from poor households, orphans, or those in especially difficult circumstances. The “Gratitude” scholarship, which waives 100% of the first semester tuition fee for students coming from affiliated high schools, also contributes to expanding access to university education for many candidates across different localities.
In addition to direct scholarships, NTTU also applies a 7–10% tuition fee reduction policy when students pay on an annual or full-course basis, helping learners take proactive control of their financial plans. Each student will be applied the policy with the highest value. The full-course scholarships are maintained in subsequent years if students achieve academic results from the Good level (GPA from 2.5/4) and conduct evaluation from the Good level. Particularly, majors such as Medicine and Odonto-Stomatology require a higher academic standard (GPA from 3.2/4) to ensure training quality and graduate standards.

Prof. Dr. Meritorious Teacher Nguyen Kim Hồng – President of the university – stated that the scholarship system is designed to provide long-term companionship to students, not only offering initial support but also creating motivation for learners to maintain academic results and develop their capacities throughout the training process.

Connecting with businesses, expanding job opportunities for students
Not stopping at financial support, Nguyen Tat Thanh University has recently implemented various activities to strengthen connections with enterprises, thereby supporting students to access real-world working environments right from their study period. Through cooperative training programs, students have opportunities to participate in internships, get familiar with business workflows, and accumulate early experience.
In addition, the school organizes job fairs with the participation of many domestic and foreign enterprises, creating conditions for students to meet employers, seek suitable internships and job opportunities, and grasp the demands of the labor market. Vocational guidance, soft skills, and professional skills are also integrated into the training curriculum. The combination of specialized knowledge and practical experience is considered a contributing factor to enhancing students’ adaptability after graduation.

According to information from the school, the partnership network currently includes more than 5,000 businesses across many fields, including more than 400 strategic partners. Businesses participate in various activities such as recruitment, contributing feedback to training programs, supporting practical equipment, sponsoring scholarships, as well as cooperating in scientific research and technology transfer. Beyond the university level, several departments and specialized institutes have established business clubs according to each sector to strengthen the connection between training activities and the actual needs of the labor market. These activities, alongside the scholarship policies, are expected to contribute to supporting students regarding career opportunities and reducing financial pressure, especially for candidates in difficult circumstances.
