Developing professional and well-trained cultural human resources
In the context of deep international integration and the boom of the cultural industry, the demand for highly specialized artistic human resources is becoming increasingly urgent. From music, cinema, fine arts, design to multimedia communications, performing arts…, all require a well-trained workforce with creative capability and the ability to adapt to global trends.
At Nguyen Tat Thanh University, students in the arts major are not only trained in specialized knowledge but are also oriented towards a highly practical learning environment, where they can promote their creativity, artistic mindset, and professional courage right from the lecture halls. The learning and practicing spaces are synchronously invested, from soundproof classrooms and standard recording studios to film studios and modern performance halls…, creating conditions for students to experience a professional artistic environment right at the university.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Meritorious Teacher Nguyen Kim Hong – President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University stated that the university is currently training majors such as Vocal Performance, Piano, Dance Choreography, Graphic Design, Architecture, and Fashion Design. The highlight of the training program at Nguyen Tat Thanh University is the harmonious combination of academic foundations and practical experience.
Students not only learn through intensive curricula and make final module reports with actual artworks, but also frequently participate in performances, exhibitions, specialized workshops, creative art competitions, as well as field trips and internships at enterprises and units operating in the cultural and entertainment fields.

In particular, in the context of the strongly developing creative industries, the University focuses on updating training trends associated with technology, artificial intelligence, and labor market demands. Majors such as Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or Architecture are oriented towards a practical approach through the application of digital technology, modern design thinking, and the ability to implement highly applicable products.
Meanwhile, performing arts majors such as Vocal Performance, Piano, or Dance Choreography focus on developing professional skills, performance styles, and the ability to integrate into the professional artistic environment.
Expanding development opportunities for young artistic human resources
In tandem with the guidelines on cultural and artistic development of the Party and the State, Nguyen Tat Thanh University constantly builds a favorable training environment and invests in many practical support policies to create conditions for students to maximize their abilities, pursue passions, and achieve comprehensive development in the arts field.
In 2026, the University announced a scholarship policy worth 75 billion VND for students, in which students majoring in artistic talents have the opportunity to receive scholarships covering 50% to 100% of the tuition fee for the entire course when winning First/Second/Third/Fourth/Consolation prizes in national or provincial excellent student/artistic/talent/sports competitions, or when the student is the valedictorian of the university or the top-scoring freshman of the faculty.
Besides, female students admitted to the Architecture major at Nguyen Tat Thanh University can also receive a scholarship covering 30% of the tuition fee for the entire course under the university’s Female Students Scholarship program. In addition, 2,000 candidates enrolling before September 15, 2026, also have the opportunity to receive a scholarship of 17 million VND. Throughout their study process, students are also considered and granted study encouragement scholarships on an annual basis.

Not only supporting tuition fees, Nguyen Tat Thanh University also organizes many free talent exam preparation classes, creating maximum conditions for reviewing, checking knowledge, as well as practicing professional skills such as playing musical instruments, singing, drawing, …. In addition to using the talent exam scores from Nguyen Tat Thanh University, candidates can also use the talent exam scores from other universities for admission at the university, which avoids psychological pressure, while reducing financial costs, time, and effort for candidates.
