After many vibrant rounds of competition, the 2026 “Proud of Tradition – Spreading NTTU Culture” contest, organized by Nguyen Tat Thanh University, has officially concluded. More than just a playground to explore the school’s history, core values, and culture, the contest also contributed to fostering pride, enhancing cohesion, and spreading the NTTU identity among all union members, association members, and students.
The 2026 “Proud of Tradition – Spreading NTTU Culture” contest was organized amidst a vibrant emulation atmosphere celebrating major national holidays, Ho Chi Minh City, and the University. It is a meaningful activity designed to help students gain a deeper understanding of the history of formation and development, traditional values, cultural identity, and outstanding achievements of Nguyen Tat Thanh University.
This is not only an academic playground for students to showcase their knowledge, competence, and solidarity spirit, but also an effective traditional educational environment, contributing to fostering pride, a sense of responsibility, and a strong bond with the University.
Launched on June 5, 2026, the contest attracted the participation of over 6,000 students from all faculties and institutes across the university. Through the preliminary round and the cultural ambassador round, the organizing committee selected the 15 best teams representing the faculties and institutes under Nguyen Tat Thanh University to enter the final round.

In the final round, the teams underwent 4 competition segments: Warm-up, Overcoming Obstacles, High-Speed Footsteps, and Finish Line. After each segment, the Organizing Committee eliminated lower-ranking teams and selected those with the best performance to continue competing in the next segment.
Through each segment, the teams demonstrated serious preparation, a spirit of solidarity, smooth coordination capabilities, as well as confidence in conquering challenges. Fierce competition battles, sudden score breakthroughs, and vibrant cheers from the audience contributed to creating an engaging final round that left many wonderful impressions on attendees.

With careful preparation, teamwork spirit, and impressive performances throughout the segments, the Faculty of Tourism team conquered the Jury and won the highest position of the contest. The Second Prize was awarded to the Faculty of Medical Laboratory Technology team. Two Third Prizes went to the teams from the Faculty of Medicine and the NTT Bilingual Training Institute.

In addition to the first, second, and third prizes, the Organizing Committee also awarded numerous prizes to recognize the efforts and marks of the competing teams, including: 04 Consolation Prizes, 02 prizes for collectives with the largest number of participating students, 01 video winning the Cultural Ambassador award, 01 video winning the Creative and Propagating Team award, and commending 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in the online preliminary round.

Evaluating the entries, M.A. Nguyen Thi Thu Thao – Acting Head of the Department of Student Affairs, Secretary of the University Youth Union shared that the entries not only reflected the serious and creative investment of the competing teams but also contributed to promoting the image of dynamic, integrated, responsible, and aspiring Nguyen Tat Thanh students ready to dedicate themselves.
In the final round, the teams not only demonstrated knowledge and understanding but also showed creativity, the aspiration to contribute, and the responsibility of the youth in spreading positive values to the community. That is also the image of the generation of Nguyen Tat Thanh students carrying the spirit of: Solidarity – Integration – Enthusiasm – Knowledge – Responsibility, ready to contribute to the development of the University and society.
Through the contest, students had the opportunity not only to review important historical milestones of the nation and the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh but also to learn more deeply about the formation process, development, outstanding achievements, core values, and cultural identity of Nguyen Tat Thanh University. Thereby, it contributes to raising awareness, fostering pride, and a sense of responsibility in preserving and promoting traditional values, while spreading the University’s culture to a large number of union members, association members, and students campus-wide.
This is also one of the practical activities of the University aimed at building an educational environment rich in identity, encouraging students to proactively learn about the traditions, history, and culture of Nguyen Tat Thanh University. At the same time, it creates motivation for each student to continue studying, training, and promoting their sense of responsibility, contributing to building the image of students at the university named after Uncle Ho in the youth era as dynamic, creative, and integrated.
