Against the backdrop of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Quantum Computing emerging as the foundational technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Nguyen Tat Thanh University recently hosted the seminar “Quantum & AI: A New Technological Doorway for Students in the Digital Era.” Far beyond just an opportunity to listen to professional insights from key speakers, the program served as a platform for students to raise questions, exchange ideas, broaden their mindset, and better orient their academic, research, and career paths within the technology sector.

The event was organized by the Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Faculty of Information Technology, drawing the participation of experts, lecturers, and a large number of students keen on the fields of AI and quantum computing.

On the guests’ side, the program welcomed the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Trung Hoa (Troy University, USA) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Anh Vu (University of Economics and Law, VNU-HCM).

Representing Nguyen Tat Thanh University were Dr. Cao Van Kien – Vice Dean of the Faculty of IT; MSc. Vuong Xuan Chi – Vice Dean of the Faculty of IT, along with distinguished lecturers from the Faculty of Information Technology and a large gathering of students.

Updating Technological Trends Shaping the Future – Academic Mentoring for Modern Era Students

Delivering the opening remarks, Dr. Cao Van Kien – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, expressed his gratitude to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Trung Hoa for joining the program. Dr. Kien also emphasized the vital role of proactively grasping new technologies amid the vigorous global digital transformation. Equipping themselves with knowledge of AI and quantum computing not only helps students expand their professional foundation but also enhances their adaptability to the increasingly demanding requirements of the future labor market.
