The Talkshow “NEXTGEN MARKET – Startup Opportunities from E-Commerce and Product Commercialization” combined with the Workshop “LIVE TO SCALE – Livestreaming in Startups in the Digital Age” helps students access the impact of AI on e-commerce, opportunities to start with affiliate marketing, platform operation requirements, and the process of organizing a livestream session under practical conditions.
The talkshow was organized by the New Youth Entrepreneur Club (NJEC), under the Center for Innovation and Startup Incubation (NIIC) – Nguyen Tat Thanh University, in collaboration with partners.

Technology Opens Opportunities, Market Mindset Determines the Path
The development of e-commerce platforms, social networks, and AI is shortening the distance between ideas and the market. Students can learn about customers, test content, and access new business models right while studying. However, to turn an idea into a product capable of surviving in the market, young people need to combine technology skills with customer mindset, the ability to choose suitable value, and operational capacity.
Delivering the opening speech, Dr. Hoang Thinh Nhan – Deputy Director of the Center for Innovation and Startup Incubation (NIIC), Nguyen Tat Thanh University, shared that e-commerce, livestreaming, and AI are further opening up conditions for students to test ideas, reach customers, and gradually bring products to the market. However, technology only truly creates an advantage when learners know how to combine the ability to use tools with market mindset, customer understanding, and business responsibility.
According to Dr. Hoang Thinh Nhan, through experiential learning programs, NIIC aims to create an environment for students to boldly explore, test, and refine ideas while connecting learners with experts, businesses, and support resources. This is a necessary preparation for students to transition from ideas to action, from trial products to projects capable of accessing the market.

Kicking off the professional content series, Mr. Le Hong Duc – Founder and CEO of OneAds analyzed the impact of AI on the e-commerce industry. From the perspective of a direct market participant, the speaker clarified how technology is supporting customer research, content production, ad operations, personalized experiences, and sales efficiency optimization.
The rapid development of AI helps businesses shorten certain stages while posing new requirements for workers and young founders. Instead of just knowing how to use individual tools, young people need the ability to ask the right questions, control information quality, understand customer needs, and choose how to apply AI in line with business goals.

Following the program, Ms. Tran Thi Nga – Livestream Operations Manager cum Training Manager at Nina Ecom Center shared startup opportunities through affiliate marketing, content creation, and livestreaming. With the affiliate marketing model, students do not necessarily need to own products, stores, or large capital immediately, but can start by selecting suitable products, building content, and connecting with the audience community.
Despite low initial costs, this model still requires serious investment in time, skills, and consistency. Participants need to know how to research customers, select products, build personal branding, analyze data, and maintain content quality. In livestreaming, the ability to tell product stories, solve viewer needs, and build trust is more important than sales approaches focused solely on price.

To Bring Products to E-Commerce Platforms, Startups Must Prepare from the Roots
One of the highlights of the program was a panel discussion featuring Mr. Le Hong Duc; Ms. Tran Thi Nga; Mr. Tran Lam – Founder and CEO of Natural House Co., Ltd.; and Mr. Truong Hoang Duy Kha – Founder and CEO of Bui Media Co., Ltd., acting as moderator.
From practical experience, the speakers discussed what projects need to prepare before launching products on e-commerce platforms. Alongside perfecting the product, startups must clearly define their target customers, competitive advantages, pricing policies, supply capacity, customer service processes, and order handling plans.
The speakers also noted that projects need to review legal requirements corresponding to each product group and business model, from business profiles, origin information, related documents to announcement contents, intellectual property rights, and specialized licenses when necessary. This preparation helps startups operate transparently, limit risks, and reinforce customer trust.
As e-commerce platforms constantly change, advantages no longer come solely from selling prices but are also created by content, experience, service speed, and the ability to maintain customer relationships. Therefore, projects should not depend entirely on a single platform but gradually build a brand, customer data, and multiple access channels.

The panel discussion also extended to human resource demands in the industry. Beyond foundational knowledge, young personnel need the ability to learn quickly, adapt to technology, analyze data, collaborate across disciplines, and proactively solve problems. AI can support idea development, script building, image generation, and process optimization, while humans retain the roles of defining messages, verifying information, building emotions, and maintaining brand identity.

From Knowledge to a Complete Livestream Session
Continuing the morning market content, the Workshop “LIVE TO SCALE – Livestreaming in Startups in the Digital Age” was held in the afternoon with the accompaniment of Ms. Tran Thi Nga and Mr. Nguyen Minh Đức – MCN Manager at Nina Ecom Center.
At the workshop, students were guided through the standard process of preparing a livestream session, from defining objectives, selecting products, building scripts, allocating time, to designing calls to action. The content also delved into frame composition, lighting arrangement, background selection, equipment preparation, backstage personnel organization, and coordination between the host and the technical department.
Through each stage, students clearly recognized that an effective livestream session depends not only on speaking skills in front of the camera, but is the result of systematic preparation and operation. The speakers also noted that practitioners must ensure accurate product information, maintain interaction, manage pacing, handle arising situations, and comply with platform regulations.

Besides the guidance session, students visited the startup project exhibition space at Hall A803, experienced products, and learned about business models. At each booth, attendees could exchange with project teams and observe how startups convey value to customers.
Products were also introduced through direct livestream sessions and displayed on LED screens in Halls A801 and A803. Through this, students could observe scene setup, technical operation, content delivery, and audience interaction in practice.
