Recently, the Faculty of Business Administration at Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU), in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Blockchain Association (HBA), organized the “Onchain Campus – Unitour” program. The event marked the official launch of the NTTU Digital Economy Club and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two organizations, expanding the learning, experiential, and professional networking environment for students in the fields of digital economy, blockchain, and digital assets.
The program took place at the Library Hall, 3rd floor, An Phu Dong campus, with the support of strategic partner MEXC Ventures. The event brought together representatives from the Faculty of Business Administration, the Ho Chi Minh City Blockchain Association, experts, business leaders, and numerous students from Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

The Onchain Campus – Unitour program attracted a large number of NTTU students, along with delegates, experts, and businesses in the digital economy, blockchain, and digital asset sectors.
Representing the Faculty of Business Administration at the event were Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Xuan Nhi – Dean; Dr. Bui Van Thoi – Vice Dean; MSc. Tran Thanh Tung – Vice Head of the Digital Economy Department; MSc. Nguyen Binh – Secretary of the Faculty Youth Union; along with representatives from the Management Board of the NTTU Digital Economy Club and students of the faculty.
Representing the HCMC Blockchain Association were Mr. Nguyen Manh Quy – Vice President of the HCMC Electronics and Communications Association; Lawyer Vo Trung Tin – Vice President of the HCMC Blockchain Association; and Mr. Nguyen Minh Phu – Head of Operations at the HCMC Blockchain Association. The program also saw the participation of experts and industry representatives, including Ms. Jenny Nguyen – Head of Strategy for MEXC Ventures in Vietnam; and Ms. Ngan Pham – Social Marketing Manager at Haravan Technology Corporation.
Creating a learning environment aligned with the digital economy
Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Xuan Nhi, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, emphasized the importance of enabling students to access emerging fields such as the digital economy and blockchain technology. He noted that the program expands the learning space for students, bridging academic knowledge with the practical demands of the industry. Instead of just receiving knowledge in the classroom, students have the opportunity to meet experts, update themselves on market trends, and directly understand the requirements of the labor market in the digital age.
From E-commerce to business thinking in the data age
Addressing the topic “How E-commerce has changed in the last 12 years,” Ms. Ngan Pham from Haravan Technology Corporation shared significant shifts in the Vietnamese e-commerce market over the past decade. The session provided students with deeper insights into how businesses are restructuring their operational models, developing brands, and building customer experiences. For students at NTTU, this was an opportunity to connect their majors—such as Business Administration, Marketing, and International Business—with the practical realities of digital transformation.
Launch of the NTTU Digital Economy Club
A key highlight of the event was the launch of the NTTU Digital Economy Club. Student Luong Nguyen Gia Huy, the Club’s President, introduced its operational direction and model. The club aims to be a hub for connecting students, faculty, and businesses through academic activities, workshops, skills training, and practical experiences. The Management Board was formally appointed during the event by the Faculty leadership and HCMC Blockchain Association representatives.
Expanding career perspectives in digital finance
The program concluded with a panel discussion on “Personnel opportunities in the digital finance industry,” featuring insights from Dr. Bui Van Thoi, Ms. Jenny Nguyen, and Ms. Ngan Pham. The speakers highlighted that career opportunities in the digital ecosystem are not limited to technology students; those with backgrounds in economics, finance, business administration, marketing, communications, and law can also make an impact if they proactively update their knowledge and develop relevant competencies.
Strategic partnership for student growth
The program concluded with the signing of an MoU between the Faculty of Business Administration at NTTU and the HCMC Blockchain Association. Valid for five years, the partnership focuses on training, applied research, human resource development, and bridging the gap between academia and the blockchain industry. Activities will include seminars, specialized topics, academic competitions, internship opportunities, and recruitment support, specifically aimed at fostering the Onchain Campus community through the newly launched Digital Economy Club.
