Traffic safety is the responsibility of each individual and a key element in building a safe, civilized learning and living environment. Every act of properly obeying traffic laws not only protects oneself but also demonstrates a sense of responsibility toward the community.
Reality shows that many traffic accidents happen due to subjectiveness and a lack of awareness regarding law compliance among road users, such as:
Not wearing a helmet when riding a motorcycle or electric scooter. Running red lights, driving in the wrong lane, or going against traffic. Using a phone while driving. Speeding and overtaking recklessly. Driving under the influence of alcohol.
Traffic accidents not only cause casualties and property damage but also directly affect the education, career, future of individuals, and the happiness of families.
What do NTTU students need to do today?
Traffic safety is not about mere compliance or doing it only when cameras are scanning. It is how we protect our own future! Let’s follow the “Street Etiquette Rules”:
Wear a standard helmet and fasten the strap properly, even for short distances.
Obey traffic signals and drive in the designated and correct lanes.
Absolutely no speeding, reckless overtaking, running red lights, or going against traffic.
If you drink alcohol – Do not drive!
Say no to using phones while operating a vehicle.
“Arriving a few minutes faster is not as important as getting home safely.”
Every student is a traffic culture ambassador. Let’s start with small actions to create big changes for the community!
